1. Issue-specific talking points
Use these in your own words — you don’t need to read them verbatim.
Pia is focused on bringing down the everyday costs that are squeezing families in Palm Beach and Broward — housing, insurance, groceries and child care.
Pia spent her career in our classrooms as a teacher and a school principal. She wants strong public schools, universal pre-K, and vocational training that leads to real jobs.
Pia will protect Social Security and Medicare from cuts — the benefits people paid into for a lifetime.
Pia believes decisions about reproductive health belong to women and their doctors, and she will defend that right in Congress.
Pia is not a career politician. She’s an educator who solved problems in schools and in government, and she’s running to bring that practical leadership to Washington.
2. Possible tricky questions

3. Pia’s biography
Pia Dandiya is an educator and former school principal, born and raised in Palm Beach County. She served as a White House Fellow and led public-sector innovation work at Apple. She won the Democratic primary on August 18 and is running in Florida’s new 22nd District against Republican Casey Askar in the November 3 general election.
Key dates: Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. The voter registration deadline is Monday, October 5. Vote-by-mail ballots go out in late September, and early voting opens in every county by October 24.
